About Shiera O’Brien

Shiera O’Brien is the founder of Zenith Training and Development, a Dublin company that trains and coaches people to communicate under pressure. She runs in-house sales training, leadership development and communication skills programmes for organisations across Ireland, and works 1-to-1 with executives, sales professionals and speakers. Her method combines sales and buying psychology with NLP and Meta-Coaching: teams train on their own live deals and conversations, then get coaching so the change sticks. She has more than 20 years’ experience, has coached over 1,000 professionals 1-to-1 and trained over 3,000 in team programmes, has a commercial background at IBM and in sales, and was named in the Top 10 Executive Coaches in Dublin in 2020 and the Top 15 in 2024.

She holds master-level certification in NLP and Neuro-Semantic coaching — two rigorous, results-focused methods in executive development. Before founding Zenith Training and Development, she held a strategic role at IBM in vendor management and building vendor systems, and worked in sales in the localisation industry, selling to senior decision-makers and consistently delivering against six-figure targets. That commercial background gives her coaching a grounded, real-world edge that most executive coaches simply do not have. She knows what it takes to perform under pressure, to sell, and to lead — not just how to coach others to do it. A graduate in Applied Languages (DCU), trained as a professional interpreter and translator in French and German, and bilingual since childhood, Shiera speaks four languages and brings a rare linguistic precision to her work that goes far beyond standard communication skills training.
