How much does executive coaching cost in Ireland? You'll find it priced from about €200 to €500 per session, and full programmes from around €2,000 to €30,000. There's no standard rate: each coach sets their fee based on what they believe their coaching is worth, so prices vary widely. (That's based on the rates Irish coaches publish, October 2026.) What drives the cost is the number of sessions, the length and depth of each one, the coach's experience and credentials, and what support you get between sessions.
The price per session tells you surprisingly little, though. The question I'd love you to ask alongside it is: what is it costing me to keep leading the way I'm leading now?
What you get when you work with me
I'm a certified Meta-Coach and Master NLP Practitioner, and I was named a Top 10 Executive Coach in Dublin. Here's how I work:
- we agree together what you need, and I price the programme around that
- sessions are 90 minutes, online, or in person if we agree it suits you, so there's time to get to the real issue and leave with something you can use
- I design personalised tools around your real situations for you to use between sessions, and they're included in your coaching
- you get a clear quote after a free 15-minute call, before anything is booked
What drives the cost of executive coaching
The number of sessions
A one-off session works well for something urgent: a high-stakes meeting, a difficult conversation, a decision that can't wait. For lasting change, I usually suggest 4–6 sessions. That gives you time to spot your patterns, practise something new, and see it hold under pressure.
Session length, and the coach behind it
Hourly rates can mislead. A 60-minute session and a 90-minute session are very different things. Mine run 90 minutes, which is enough time to get past the surface, work on a real situation and leave with a clear next step.
The coach matters too. The title "executive coach" isn't regulated in Ireland, so check for recognised qualifications and real experience with leaders at your level. Then trust how the first conversation feels.
Support between sessions
For some people, coaching ends when the session does. I like to give my clients something to take straight back into their workplace, which is why I build personalised tools around their real situations. It's extra value you won't see in a session price.
The hidden cost of not getting coaching
In my experience, coaching is rarely the expensive option. The expensive option is the pattern that keeps repeating:
- the decision you keep putting off
- the conversation you avoid until it becomes a crisis
- the meeting where you're heard but not followed
- the good person who leaves because of how they're managed
- the promotion that goes to someone who communicates with more certainty
Put a figure on any one of those, and the cost of coaching starts to look very different.
What the investment really buys
Executive coaching is about behaviour change. I use a blended approach: coaching, with some learning built in. What matters is that you can apply what we work on, change how you behave, and step fully into the role, owning it as the leader as well as holding the title.
A big part of that is self-awareness. You start to see your own behaviours and the effect they have, and you learn how to work with your team, coach your team, and coach a situation or the business itself. In a sense, leaders learn to coach by being coached.

How to compare executive coaches in Ireland
When you're comparing coaches, look past the price and ask each of them:
- What qualifications do you hold, and who accredited them?
- How do you structure a session?
- How will we know it's working?
- How long is each session, and what will I leave with?
- What will I have to use between sessions?
- Can we have a short call first to see if we're a fit?

Executive coaching cost in Ireland: FAQs

You'll find executive coaching in Ireland priced from about €200 to €500 per session, and full programmes from around €2,000 to €30,000. At Zenith, Shiera O'Brien agrees what you need on a free 15-minute call and prices the programme accordingly. Sessions run 90 minutes and include personalised tools to complement the coaching.
Is executive coaching worth the money?
When it's focused on a clear outcome, yes. Coaching pays for itself when it changes the pattern that's costing you: the decision you keep delaying, the conversation you avoid, or the meeting where you're heard but not followed.
How many executive coaching sessions will I need?
Usually 4–6 sessions, which gives enough depth to see real progress. For an urgent situation, such as a high-stakes meeting or a decision that can't wait, a one-off session can work well.
Will my company pay for executive coaching?
Many organisations in Ireland fund executive coaching as part of leadership development, especially for new or senior leaders. Setting clear objectives at the start helps make the case.

Yes. Sessions run online, wherever you are in the world, and can be in person in Dublin if that suits you best.
